Career Opportunities at its Best

The job market of today is searching for those people that have training beyond high school but less than four years of college.  Only 10 percent of todays jobs require college degrees.  Our students that come through the Elmore County Technical Center and continue training at a Technical College will met the needs of 80 percent of todays work force.  In many situations the labor market is looking for the individual that 1) comes to work daily 2) has the proper work ethic & 3) comes to work with the right attitude.  Many employers state that they can train a person willing to work, they cannot work a person that is not willing to dedicate themselves.

We here at the Elmore County Technical Center , instructors and staff, hope that we are instilling this can do / will do attitude in our students.  We enjoy our jobs and we hope that the students enjoy being on our campus.  The skills that the students learn today will carry them into the future.
