Rising freshmen from around Elmore County spent the week of May 31-June 3 at ECTC exploring our 9 programs. A total of 46 students participated throughout the week. On 3 days of camp, students rotated through ECTC's programs participating in a hands-on activity related to each field - from cutting metal in Welding Technology to practice with the fire hose in Public Safety and Law to sautering circuit boards in Computer Technology! On Thursday June 2, students traveled to Alabama State University's Forensic Sciences Lab for a crime scene investigation and trial utilizing evidence collected plus a tour of the facility.
Photos from the camp are posted on the Elmore County CTE Facebook Page.
