    The Elmore County Technical Center announces that applications are being accepted for high school students to attend career and technical education programs at the center during the 2017-2018 school year. In order to attend career and technical education programs, students must attend a district high school and must have completed the 9th grade.     The Elmore County Technical Center offers the following programs:

       Automotive Service Technology         Computer Technology

         Construction Technology                   Electrical Technology

       Hospitality & Tourism                       Medical Science

       Plumbing and Pipefitting                   Pre-Engineering & Design

         Public Safety & Law                          Welding Technology

     

    In addition to the above programs, Elmore County Public Schools also offers the following career tech programs for students in 9th -12th grades:

    Elmore County High School: Family and Consumer Science, Agriscience, JROTC

    Holtville High School: Family and Consumer Science (Culinary Arts), Agriscience, JROTC, Business/Marketing

    Stanhope Elmore High School: Family and Consumer Science (Culinary Arts), Agriscience, JROTC, Business/Marketing, Finance

    Wetumpka High School: Family and Consumer Science (Culinary Arts), Agriscience, JROTC, Business/Marketing, AAVTC
